Being here

Working at Ynsect means helping to combat one of the major challenges of our time: to make the way we eat more nutritious and sustainable by helping to reinvent our food systems.

Our People

People and planet, aligned

We believe that real change happens together. Creating and pioneering a new industry from scratch requires a supportive and talented team.

Both environmental and social innovators, we are committed to hiring passionate, talented, and diverse people, and developing a fair and supportive working environment in which they can flourish – for their benefit, but also for the future of our food systems and planet.

Work Philosophy

01

We are united

Achieving our ambitions has to be a team effort. Even in the face of pressure, we leave no man behind. We cultivate respect, exchange, and listen to those in our ecosystems.

02

We are agile

Change is the only constant we have. Always ready to move, react, and overcome obstacles, agility is what allows us to keep moving forward no matter what.

03

We are courageous

We continue the pursuit of our courageous vision in the face of obstacles and challenges. We have the courage to stay driven, honest, and true to ourselves.

Social policy

Leading by example, we are committed to enhancing agroindustry work conditions for all employees and stakeholders.

Health & wellbeing

Central to our social vision - from a novel new parental leave to working-from-home policies or employee satisfaction surveys - we practices our values every day.

Gender equality

In 2021, our gender equality score was 92/100: 6 points above the national average of companies with fewer than 250 employees.

Profit sharing

All employees can become Ynsect shareholders, allowing everyone to benefit from the company’s success.

Equal parental leave

Since 2017, we provide 10 weeks paid parental leave for the ‘second’ parent, on top of the legal requirement for the ‘first’ parent.

Ynsect minimum wage
